2 beautiful community halls in the heart of Woombye available for hire.
MainHallSmallThe Woombye School of Arts Hall can easily seat around 100 people for a meeting and around 100 seated at tables. The main hall is popular for dancing classes, music and large celebrations. Alcohol is permitted inside the premises but can not in any circumstances be sold at the facility. The responsibility for the use of alcohol is that of the hirer. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises of the hall. Furthermore butts are not to be discarded around the entrance ramp. If you would like to decorate the hall for your celebration or event you can do so provided that all fixings are attached to the cup hooks provided. Sticky tape is not permitted along with helium Balloons. The Woombye School of Arts Hall has parking available in Hill Street and has a ramp that leads directly to the street with disabled toilet facilities adjacent to the Main Hall.

LowerHallSmallWSOA Lower Hall The lower hall is the smaller of the two halls approximately 18m x 9m. It has a large kitchen with refrigerator, oven and cook top plus crockery and cutlery. The hall has a timber floor suitable for dancing and separate access to the main hall. The Lower Hall was built when funds were raised by returned serviceman as well as many other people and loans from local citizens. It was to be known as the supper room much planning went into the build.

LowerHallSmallWSOA Library The Woombye Community Library is situated in front of the Main Hall and has been operating since 1898. Run by volunteers, it services Woombye and its environs with fiction and non-fiction books for adults and pre-schoolers. There is also a range of magazines and large print books for adults. Schools of Arts were viewed very much in the nineteenth century as worthy bodies concerned with intellectual improvement, literacy and nourishing community life.
